Big Changes
Lots of changes, most notably the name has been changed from Flying Fig Photography to Tracey Leigh Photography. Why you may ask? I made the decision to expand and I felt a name change was needed in order to target a larger market.
I wasn't sure what I should do? Should I scrap the blog and start a new one with the new name? I had already begun to neglect the blog in favor of posts on the Facebook Fanpage which has a very healthy following.
With Facebook, Pinterest, and the website did I really need a blog too? I didn't want to take the blog down as I know there are a few helpful tutorials that remain popular linked back to the blog pages through sites like Pinterest. I appreciate your kind comments and loyal following I'd sure love to see you stop by and follow me at my Facebook Fanpage. I've been super busy perfecting the art....

Zella Bea 6 Months - Apollo Beach Baby Photographer
So I totally love this family who were recently stationed in Okinawa so that made this our last session together. Such a bittersweet session... I think towards the end of our beach day the sadness kind of shines through.

Bruce 6 Months - Tampa Bay Child Photographer
I love seeing how much "my babies" have grown in such a short time. Meet Mr. Bruce, gorgeous blue-eyed bouncing baby boy. Arianah definitely earned her keep with this session. She had to do jumping jacks and some kind of wiggle dance to get him to smile. Well can you blame him... after all we were all laughing and smiling.
Where we left off?

Due to the overwhelming response to Confessions of a Prop Junkie's Blog Post I have been promising to put together a tutorial on the backdrop system featured in the article. So without further ado: The Backdrop Hanger System
Materials Needed
Molding cut to the width of your fabric appox. 54"
Metal garden bed edging (2) for each hanger
Screwdriver/Drill Drill bit
Pliers
Glue gun
Viola! That's all there is to it.
Please show your love for this free tutorial by following our Facebook FanPage. I'd love to see you post pictures on the Fanpage of YOUR completed Backdrop Hangers.
